Do you read the signs of time and space? Do you read the signs of the sun darkening, th emoon losing its light? That the rich and the poor are growing apart, that the richest country in this world is unable to care of its poor? Do you see the children on the streets, the homeless? Do you see the women abused in the silence of their homes? Do you see the women and men and children developing skin cancer in many places of the third world hit by the depletion of the ozone layer; a depletion caused by the luxuries consumed above the equator and for some reason bring their consequences to people elsewhere? Do you read these big signs?
I beseech you, keep awake for there is so much you would rather not see, but so much more you cannot afford to miss.
